Careers

Our 6th years receive excellent talks from various colleges throughout the school year. So far this year we were delighted to host Athlone IT, UCD, Maynooth, GMIT, IT Sligo and we look forward to many more in the coming months. But nothing beats having a past pupil return. Paddy Grogan gave a great insight into the option of an Apprenticeship, he is finishing his final year in Aerospace and has already been offered a permanent job starting in September! We would encourage all our leaving certs to keep all options open by applying to the CAO, Apprenticeships, PLC courses etc.

Open night proved to be a very enriching experience for our school last week. We were delighted to open the doors of our school to welcome all prospective students who are set to enrol in secondary school for September 2019. There was a great buzz of excitement around the school as present students demonstrated the full range of subjects, our school offers. Our trad group gave a lively introduction to the night and set the atmosphere of excitement and anticipation for our prospective incoming first years.
