 ‘Trick or Treat’ Fundraiser

Thank you to all staff and students who took part in our annual ‘Trick or Treat’ fancy dress fundraiser on Friday last. As always, there was a wonderful atmosphere in the school throughout the day with many creative costumes on display. All proceeds raised will go to Temple Street Children’s Health Foundation. Thank you to teachers Ms McDonagh, Ms Brennan, Ms Gilleran, Ms Duffy, Ms Moran, Ms Fitzmaurice, Ms O’Rourke and Ms Bruton for organising. We hope everyone is having a wonderful midterm break.

Sports

Our U16 Ladies Gaelic Football Team had their first match of the year on Thursday last against St. Mary’s Edenderry in the Junior A championship. The girls didn’t get the desired result on the day but put up an impressive performance. Thank you to coaches Ms O’Reilly, Mr Seery and Mr Bohan.

U19 International Soccer

Well done to 6th year pupil Melissa O’Kane who was recently selected for the Irish Women's U19 soccer squad for the European Championship qualifiers. Wishing Melissa continued success on the field.

Macra na Feirme

Thank you to Debbie Donnelly from Longford Macra who gave an excellent talk to our 5th and 6th year students on Wednesday last. Debbie gave students an insight into some of the fantastic opportunities available to them in joining a club such as Macra na Feirme. Everyone aged 17-35 is welcome to join.
