Seachtain na Gaeilge

Last week we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge 2024. Activities took place in all Irish classes including céilí dancing, quizzes, poster competitions and more. On Wednesday, 6th year students attended the ‘Caith Amach É’ workshop in preparation for their Irish orals. On Thursday, we had our annual Lá Glas. Students dressed in green on the day and a prize was given to the following students who put in a special effort: Freya White (1st year), Rebecca Casey (2nd year), Caolán O’Hanlon (3rd year), Mirabel Joseph (TY), Sarah Keegan (5th year) and Femi Olajide (6th year). A huge thank you to all musicians and Irish dancers who performed on the day. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
