Information about iPads

Our first year students have the option of  using Apple iPads. A video showcasing how we enhance teaching and learning using Digital Technologies can be viewed above. We work with a company called Wriggle Learning. This company supplies, configures and manages the devices within our school to ensure it is a safe, effective and an engaging learning environment.

Devices, apps and support for 3 years is included in the cost. Details of the above and a new payment plan are explained in the Wriggle iPads Parent Pack, available to download below.

Students are set up on Google Classroom which is a forum for communication between teacher and student. Each student is given a school email address which is used as another means of communication.

With the new Junior Cycle programme now in place the fact that our students use iPads provides them with a  major advantage when working on their Classroom Based Assessments (CBAs) which are assessed and are part of their Junior Certificate exams.
