Basketball News

Well done to our 1st and 2nd year girls’ basketball teams who won competitive games against Tullamore College last week. They displayed great teamwork and shooting. Well done to coaches Ms Nally and Mr McGivney. Unfortunately, the U19 team lost in the Midlands A Plate final against a very strong Pipers Hill College team. The girls can be proud of their efforts and gave everything they had from start to finish. Thank you to coaches Mr McGivney and Ms Cribben. Meanwhile, our U16 boys basketballers beat Rochfortbridge in the final in Portlaoise. The boys demonstrated some excellent composure in the final few minutes in a tight game with often 1 point separating the sides to win on a scoreline of 35-27. Well done to the lads and their coaches Mr. Guerin and Mr. Gately.

Soccer News

Well Done to our U15 Boys’ Soccer team on winning the West Leinster Cup last week with a 1-0 victory over Oaklands College, our only goal coming from Ryan Kenny. The lads now progress to the Leinster Competition. Thanks to Mr Flynn and Ms Beirne for their continued hard work with the group.
